Ah how could I leave Wilbs out? Not to mention the "piece of furniture" that changed our cat's lives. We bought a second one, FYI.

The heat has been unbearable but at least the brew has been good. Funny about the "boutique" shops, it's not the case down here. When I told the bodega guy I got it from that he was doing a good thing by having good beer in his shop, he said "come back again and prove it." I love Brooklyn.

ha funny ; i'm sitting here drinking a kellerweis in this MISERABLE heat & checked in here to see if you'd written it up yet ...

strangely, they didn't have it at any of the "boutique" shops around here, but the vietnamese bodega on the corner had it in full supply ... great stuff, almost like a "blonde" aventinus ...

I think they keep the can rotations pretty seasonal, but I'm not sure. The Ten Fiddy was definitely around in the Winter, and I drank a bunch of it. It's really amazing to have a 10.5% ABV beer in a can, not sure why! Thanks for stopping by!

Right on! Their canning line is probably why I've seen Oskar Blues popping up in some unexpected places around the BK. Dale's and Old Chub, especially. Not so much the Ten Fiddy. Which is delicious, of course, and there's something enjoyably dissonant about pouring such a monster of a beer from a can. As you know that stuff looks like motor oil. Oh I want one now.
